Date: November 21, 2024

Time: 12:00 PM - 1:00 PM

Location: ZOOM

Does parenting ever feel like an exhausting and frustrating game of tug of war? Do self-care routines, homework, screen time or household chores become battlegrounds for conflict? In this workshop series we will explore how daily tasks or expectations transform into escalating conflicts and what we can do about it! These sessions will be connected but participants are also welcome to attend a single standalone session.

Part 1: Conflict, Triggers and Escalation

In the first session, we will explore the role of stress and triggers in escalating conflicts. How can we avoid escalations by anticipating and minimizing unnecessary or unproductive triggers? What role does our own socialization and upbringing play in how we respond to defiance and resistance?
